My name is Todd Klassy and I am a photographer. But not a recovering one, mind you. No, I am a hopelessly addicted to photography and do not have plans to change any time soon. This blog will be a place for me to chronicle what I am photographing, what I am doing, and where I’ve been.

As you may already know, the popularity of photography has blossomed in recent years. Largely thanks to the advent of compact cameras and cell phones, people are taking photographs more now than at any other time in history. Instead of belonging to photo clubs, which were hugely popular in the 1950s, photographers flock to places like Flickr, Picasa, SmugMug, Digital Photography Review, Photo.net, and countless other places on the Internet. And because there are so many new photographers these days, I find myself striving to be different than everyone else. Likewise, because there are so many places on the Internet talking about photography, my blog must also be different.

My goal is to update this blog at least once a day. Some will be short, some will be long (very long), but most of them will include at least one photograph of what I am doing and what I am seeing through my camera and lens. Once a week also plan on posting a new episode of my series I call “Rubbertramp.” More on that later.

Please keep in mind that this blog is a work in progress. There are still a few glitches and some house cleaning still needs to be done. If you spot an error, please me know.
